This series from the Spring continued the ongoing challenge to depict the ephemeral quality of life in which forms are in constant flux. These paintings are a departure from previous work on this theme as they abandon clearly recognizable forms yet hint at figures and interactions. If they are there, some of these figures might be related to another obsession – the human/animal mythical creatures that haunted our ancestors and are archetypal images of/from the human mind.
